Bed and Breakfast 'With a Difference' means that you will be provided each day of your stay with all the ingredients you need to make your own breakfast at any time you wish - start by choosing from a range of cereals, yogurts, and fresh fruit, then enjoy a full cooked Skye breakfast or a cold platter of cheeses , meats, wholemeal or white bread, croissants or oatcakes.
We serve home made or locally made bread, Skye Island Kitchen preserves made with organically grown local fruit, local pork sausages, local free range eggs and Scottish produced dairy products, cheeses and unsmoked bacon.
Treats and Extras
Sue enjoys baking, and as she likes to welcome our guests with something to eat, it is usual to find some freshly home made cake, muffins or biscuits awaiting you on your arrival. There will also be a welcome tray ready for you to make a much needed cup of tea or coffee.
If you have had a long day getting to Skye, and don't want the bother of preparing a meal or finding somewhere to eat, let Sue know in advance, and she will prepare a large plate of sandwiches and a pan of freshly made soup for you. The charge for soup and sandwiches is £7.50 per person.
Whenever possible, the vegetables used in our soups are organically home-grown in the Roskhill Barn allotment.
